Your Retainer

For a deeper clean, use a mild dish soap or a cleaner specifically designed for retainers; avoid using toothpaste, as it can be abrasive.
  • Storage: When not in your mouth, keep your retainer in its case. This protects it from damage and loss. Never wrap your retainer in a napkin or tissue; it can easily be thrown away by mistake. Remember, dogs and pets love chewing on retainers, so keep it stored and hidden away!
  • Avoid Heat: High temperatures can warp your retainer. Keep it away from hot water, car dashboards, and any other heat sources.
  • Don’t Eat While Wearing Your Retainer: Unless instructed otherwise, remove your retainer before eating to avoid damaging it.
